#epic is a fun-filled mix of loads of different things that kids love, including worship, dancing, puppets, games, craziness, impressions, film clips, bible teaching, points, prizes, prayers, activities of all kinds, plus lots and lots of laughter and enjoyment!
#epic costs 50p per child, and runs every Thursday evening from 6-7.30pm in Room 1 at BCC.
Film night at the end of each season is free, and younger brothers and sisters are welcome to come and watch the film alongside Year2-Year6 #epic participants.
the mission of #epic
The mission for #epic is Every Person In Christ
That means that each and every person who comes to #epic will receive great opportunities to be a follower of Jesus!
To support our mission, we have 3 objectives:
- Teach everyone how to follow Jesus with their lives, how to be filled with the Spirit – and about the bible, prayer, worship, talents, spiritual gifts, communion and church
- Have fun, make friends and invite people along
- Interact in a meaningful way with today's world using scenes shown in popular children's films as the starting point for biblical teaching.
Toddlers & Parents Group
Beginning every Tuesday 10:30-12:00 Bubbles will be launching 13th June at Birmingham City Church and costs 50p per child to enter & parents or carers are free.
This is a Toddler & Parent group for children aged 0-3 available for anyone where we provide craft, story time, snacks & safe environment for children to play. Our Crèche room is equipped with a variety of toys, craft equipment, ball pit and dress up costumes. For parents & carers we provide tea & coffee and ask that you stay with you children at this event.
Mission of Bubbles
Our mission is to help children & parents belong to a community group for both the children and parents.
BCC now have a Children & Youth dance group available on Tuesdays starting from 13th June 6:00-7:00pm from age 7-17 in room 1. Dance will only be during term time and not in summer.
Dance is lead by Ellie our Children's Leader and has taught a range of different styles of dance. This season we will be using the song 'Noël' from Hillsong Young & Free.
BCCKids have now started rehearsing for our Christmas Production on Sunday 10th December.
This is a great opportunity to invite friends & family for this great service lead by BCCKids.
We are proud to present 4Front Theatre's, Christmas Castaways.
It's been 7 years since Roy and Eva were shipwrecked on the tropical island of Mehetia; and it's only when Roy finds a digital watch that they realise what time of the year it is- December. So this year, the castaways are going to do Christmas! However they are 7 years out of practise, so they'll need some help making it happen, and that's if a mysterious man in a mask doesn't ruin the fun along the way!

Baby & Child Dedication
What is Dedication?
Many Christian churches practice baby dedication instead of christening or infant baptism.
Dedication is a ceremony in which believing parents, and sometimes entire families, make a commitment before the Lord to raise that child according to the ways instructed in the Bible.
Responsibilities Involved in Dedication
Christian parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to the Lord to do everything within their power to raise the child in a godly way, until the time when that child can make a decision on their own to follow God.
The church family also commits to supporting parents in these responsibilities.
If you would like your child to be dedicated, please leave your details at the Information Point on a Sunday or contact the office.
The safeguarding of all children and vulnerable adults is a priority at BCC.
To report any concerns, please contact our Safeguarding Coordinators directly, or speak to any of the ministers via the church office during the week.
Our Safeguarding Policy is available to download from our Safeguarding page.
