Serving at BCC
CO-WORKER OPPORTUNITIES currently available. Please complete our gift mix survey below for more information.
We believe that everyone who is part of BCC has something to give and a role to fulfil here. Getting involved is also a great way to get to know people.
The Bible says in Ephesians 4:11-12 ‘So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.’ The Church staff are here to equip the congregation for service in order to build up the church and to extend God's kingdom here on earth.
As BCC is such a large church there is a vast array of different places and roles in which to serve. Not all roles are equally suited to everyone, people’s journeys are different and there will inevitably be different life circumstances and levels of Christian maturity which will play their part in where people might serve.
About once every other month we hold an ‘Insight Night’ which is a great opportunity to find out more about volunteering at BCC as you’ll learn more about the church and our vision and values.
We also have a Volunteering Booklet which will give you more information and a survey which will help you to discover more about the gifts God has given to you to use in serving Him.
If you would like to begin to find your place to volunteer please contact our Volunteer Champion, Pastor Rachel. You might also like to complete our Gift Mix survey below, to begin the process.
