Types of BCC Communities
Communities may have different rhythms and purposes while sharing the same Christ-centred, welcoming, biblical, prayerful, relational, safe, participatory and outward-looking DNA.
Small Groups
Regular gatherings for friendship, prayer, scripture and shared life. This includes traditional Life Groups.
Seminar Groups (Courses)
Bible study, discipleship, Christian foundations, marriage, parenting or leadership formation. Also includes things like Alpha and Freedom in Christ.
Social Groups
.Shared interests or life stages such as business, sport, creativity, walking, students or young professionals
Seasonal Groups
Time-limited communities organised around a course, theme, project or defined season.
Serve Groups (Ministries)
Community fomed through practical service, outreach or mission, with space for prayer and relationship. This includes things like worship team, welcome team etc.
Support Groups
.Pastorally appropriate peer support around a shared experience or need, operating within agreed boundaries.
