At Birmingham City Church, we believe church is more than a place we attend it is a family we belong to.
BCC Communities exist to help create spiritual homes where people can be known, loved, encouraged, discipled and supported as they grow in their relationship with Jesus and with one another.
Our mission is simple:

Inspired by Ephesians 2:22, we believe God brings us together in Christ and shapes us into a people among whom His Spirit dwells.
This means community is not simply about attending a group or an event. It is about belonging, formation, contribution and shared responsibility.
Find Your Community
Whatever season of life you are in, there is a place for you to connect.
Our Communities provide spaces where you can build meaningful relationships, grow spiritually, pray with others, study God’s Word, receive encouragement and use your gifts to serve others.
We want everyone who calls BCC home to move from simply attending church to belonging to a community.

Everyone has something to bring. Communities create opportunities to discover and use your gifts to strengthen others and serve the wider church.
Supporting One Another
Life is not designed to be lived alone. Our Communities create spaces where people can celebrate together, pray together and support one another through different seasons of life.
Our Community Leaders
Our Community Leaders are people who have said yes to serving God’s people.
They help create healthy environments where people can connect, grow closer to Jesus and discover their place within the body of Christ.
Community leadership at BCC is a privilege and a shared responsibility. Our leaders are not expected to have every answer or carry every need. Instead, healthy leadership is built on dependence on God, self-awareness, accountability and partnership with the wider church.
Together, our leaders help ensure that our Communities remain welcoming, spiritually healthy and connected to the vision and values of Birmingham City Church.
